Chapter One
It was the year 2515 and the planet Earth was governed by one superpower-the USA. And all the people who lived on Earth in the 1980’s and 1990’s were back from the dead and Ronald Reagan was President once again. There was a special military unit called the Atomic Soldiers. This unit were all men with superhuman strength and superhuman powers. President Reagan was very proud of the Atomic Soldiers. Some of the soldiers in the unit were women as well and they also had superhuman powers. The chief officer was a soldier named Apollo. The most powerful of all the soldiers was a Lieutenant whose name was Marius. His co-pilot, a female aviator and a member of the Atomic Soldiers, was a young woman named Serena. Most of the Atomic Soldiers were involved with fighting intergalactic wars and with secret spy missions on Earth.
The electronic medium board lit up. Captain Donny Feldman was calling for help:
“Atomic Soldiers, this is Capricorn-29! Do you read me?”
“We read you Capricorn-29! Do you need our help? What’s your status?”
“Aliens have attacked our spaceship. We’re heading for Saturn and aliens from the Black Eye Galaxy have attacked us. We need your help! Send the Atomic Soldiers! Over and out!”
Captain Donny Feldman tried to maintain his power at the controls. The aliens kept attacking the spaceship. His colleague, Co-Captain Benny Griffith who was from North Carolina loaded the Z-2 laser strikes and fired them out from the ship, combatting the aliens from the Black Eye Galaxy. But the aliens from the Black Eye Galaxy were big and mighty and powerful. Their giant spaceship opened up its cargo door and with a big sucking sound magnetized the Capricorn-29 spaceship bringing it inside of their own ship. Captain Donny Feldman and Co-Captain Benny Griffith got out their huge laser guns and turned on their nuclear ray guns on their ship to counter attack. Astronaut Jimmy-Lee Moore put a new pack in the Robot. Only the Robot could tell them about these dangerous aliens. Meanwhile, Astronaut Deirdre McClellan radioed the Atomic Soldiers once again for help.
“Atomic Soldiers! This is Capricorn-29! We’ve been sucked into the alien spaceship! We need your help! Mayday!”
“We’re on our way! Have no fear! Our Atomic Soldiers are here!”
The Atomic Soldiers, Apollo, Marius and Serena strapped themselves into their spaceship. Apollo started the engine and hit the controls on the dashboard.
“Mission Control, we’re counting down!”
“10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, we have lift off!”
The Atomic Soldiers were on their way to save Capricorn-29. Their spaceship was long and sleek. It had three engines and it flew faster than the speed of light. Saturn was millions of miles away from Earth. The Capricorn-29 space- ship was traveling through the galaxy journeying to Saturn. The Taurus-13 space- ship would be there in three weeks’ time. For the astronauts on Capricorn-29, their long time in captivity by these intergalactic space aliens was just beginning. A whole nightmare lay ahead of them.
The Robot issued a warning: “Danger! The aliens are approaching. They are from the Black-Eye Galaxy and they are very treacherous. They speak English as they study life forms on all planets. These aliens have most likely been on Earth more than once. They are a very advanced form of life,” reported the Robot.
“Thank you, Robot,” said Astronaut Jimmy-Lee Moore.
The aliens used their high-powered magnetic ray guns and opened the door to the Capricorn-29. The aliens from the Black-Eye Galaxy climbed on board the Capricorn-29 spaceship. These aliens had green hair, yellow eyes, ears on top of their head like an animal, hands and feet that were shaped like an amphibian. They wore a huge medallion that almost blinded you when you looked at it.
“This is our ship now!” commanded the tallest of the five aliens. “You will do what we say!”
“No, we won’t. We won’t be your hostages!” yelled Co-Captain Benny Griffith.
Astronaut Deirdre McLellan radioed the Atomic Soldiers.
“Atomic Soldiers! This is Capricorn-29! We are being held hostage by the aliens on our own ship. Our ship has been sucked inside of their ship! Are you on your way?”
“Yes, Capricorn-29, we’re on our way! But it will take three weeks to get there. Do what you can to fight them off right now. We’ll get there as soon as we can,” said Serena, one of the Atomic Soldiers.
“Atomic Soldiers, our situation is dire! Please hurry!”
“We will get there as soon as possible. It takes three weeks for our spaceship to reach where you are.”
“Yes, unfortunately, I know that,” said Deirdre.
“We’ll contact another spaceship where the Atomic Soldiers are. That will be Explorer-12. They’re on Mars. We’ll contact them. They’ll get there faster than us.”
“Thank you, Atomic Soldiers. Over and out.”
The aliens from the Black-Eye Galaxy were searching the Capricorn-29 spaceship. Captain Donny Feldman took out his sub-atomic gun. He had never used it before. He held it in his hands and put his fingers on the trigger. The first sight of one of the aliens and Donny opened fire on him. The sub-atomic gun melted the alien. But another alien aimed his instant-freeze gun at Donny and he was transformed into a frozen statue. Co-Captain Benny Griffith aimed his sub-atomic gun at the alien who was at the controls and the alien melted. But then another alien aimed his instant-freeze gun at Benny and he was transformed into a frozen statue. Astronaut Deirdre McLellan hid in her compartment hoping the aliens wouldn’t see her. She watched through the peephole. She saw three aliens at the controls. She held her breath in fear. Then she saw them exit the ship. Deirdre opened the door and was in shock to see her two fellow astronauts turned into frozen statues. She was relieved when she saw Jimmy-Lee and the Robot. But her other colleague Tad McHenry was missing.
“Where were you?”
“Downstairs in my cubicle, hidden away where the aliens wouldn’t find me. The robot e-mailed me a message. He said these aliens will be back to try and take us to their ship where we will be questioned by their leader,” said Astronaut Jimmy-Lee.
“That doesn’t sound good. What do we do about Benny and Donny?” shrieked Deirdre.
“Have no fear! The Robot can unfreeze them. Robot! Do your thing!” commanded Jimmy-Lee.
And the Robot unfroze both Donny and Benny with his atomic anti-freeze crystals. Donny and Benny came back to life. They shook their arms and legs to get their muscles moving again.
The radio came on: “These are the Atomic Soldiers on Explorer-12. We’re on our way to save you from the aliens! Over and out!”
“Thank God!” exclaimed Captain Feldman.
“Tad is missing,” said Deirdre.
“The aliens must have grabbed him,” said Benny.
“We are in danger, oh Captain, my Captain,” announced the Robot.
Chapter Two
Astronaut Jimmy Lee Moore stood side by side with his other colleagues, Captain Donny Feldman, Co-Captain Benny Griffith, and Astronaut Deirdre McClellan. They were bound together, and they had to protect themselves from the aliens from the Black Eye Galaxy.
“Thanks for unfreezing us!” exclaimed Co-Captain Benny Griffith.
“No problem Benny. The Robot unfroze you,” said Astronaut Jimmy Lee Moore.
“Now where did those aliens run off to? And what did they do with Tad?” asked Astronaut Deirdre McClellan.
“Let’s ask my Robot friend,” said Astronaut Jimmy Lee Moore. “Robot, please tell us where the aliens vanished to. What kind of danger are we in?”
“Friends, you are all in very grave danger! The aliens are for now back on their own ship. But you must arm yourselves with ray guns, laser guns, and Alchemist-3 spray guns and sub-atomic guns. Alert the Atomic Soldiers that we might be hijacked off to the Black Eye Galaxy where these aliens hail from. Tell them to send for help to rescue us as soon as possible! And we need to rescue Tad! The aliens are brainwashing him! Danger! Danger! Grab your weapons! The aliens have returned!” warned the robot, flinging his arms all about him. And indeed, the aliens had returned. Two of the really tall ugly aliens, grabbed Deirdre and were putting a huge net around her. Benny grabbed his Alchemist 3 spray gun and aimed it at them. They both froze on the spot. Donny and Jimmy Lee got Deirdre free from the net. The Robot flung his arms about. And he started to recite information.
“Aliens will not stay frozen long. Tie them up quickly and keep your weapons aimed at them,” warned the Robot. “Quickly! Danger! Danger! They are awakening! Spray them with the Alchemist 3 spray gun!” shouted the Robot.
Quickly, Astronaut Jimmy-Lee Moore picked up the Alchemist-3 spray gun and aimed it at the aliens freezing them in place again. Jimmy-Lee shook his head. ‘It won’t be long before they awaken. What do we do? Granted there has to be a lot more of them in their spaceship. I think we’re totally surrounded by them. What did the Atomic Soldiers tell you, Deirdre?”
“They said they’re on their way to help us, but it might take a couple of weeks for them to get here so the Explorer-12 which is now on Mars is also on its way to help us. Serena told us to use our laser guns and all our weapons to protect ourselves from the aliens.”
“We have to come up with a plan to get ourselves free of their space-ship which has sucked us in. We have to maybe shoot out some of our missiles and attack them from inside, so we can get out of here,” said Captain Donny Feldman.
“Let’s use our sub-atomic guns and melt these two aliens,” instructed Co-Captain Benny Griffith.
“Good idea,” agreed Donny. So, Captain Donny Feldman used the sub-atomic gun on the aliens and they melted away. A puddle of water was all that remained. They closed and secured the spaceship and made the Robot stand guard for them while they came up with a plan to set themselves free from the alien space-ship. Deirdre decided it was a perfect time for them to have their dinner, so they could discuss what they had to do. She got out the frozen packets of peas, mashed potatoes, and ground beef. She also got out the little packets to make coffee.
The four astronauts ate their dinner and made their plans to free the ship from the aliens of the Black Eye Galaxy. The Robot continued to stand guard for them. And Deirdre continued to worry about Tad. She knew how sensitive he was.
“We have our air to space missiles to protect our ship. I know we were told not to use them unless we were caught up in an intergalactic war, but I think this is a form of war. We are being held hostage by these aliens of the Black Eye Galaxy. It’s only a matter of time before they try to kill us or destroy our ship or try to steal our technology. So, I say as the Captain of this ship, that we use our air to space missiles. Let’s put it to a vote. Benny?”
“I say yes.”
“Jimmy-Lee?”
“Definitely yes.”
“Deirdre?”
“Without a doubt, use the missiles! But I pray we can get Tad back with us”
“Do I get a vote?” asked the Robot.
“Yes, of course.”
“I vote to use the missiles and free us from this alien ship.”
“And Deirdre, somehow we’ll get Tad back with us. The Atomic Soldiers will help us. Okay, then. Let’s go fire off those missiles!” exclaimed Donny.
“Thank you, Captain Feldman. I’ll pray for Tad,” said Deirdre.
“So, will I,” replied the captain.
Captain Donny Feldman fired off the air to space missiles targeting the opening of the alien spaceship. The missiles flew right through to the door of the alien space ship and blew the cargo door right off and out they went into the blackness of the universe only to be met by seven more alien ships of the Black Eye Galaxy. Their spaceship was now surrounded, and they were being locked into a magnetic force field. Deirdre got on to radio the Atomic Soldiers. “Serena, this is Capricorn-29! We freed ourselves of the alien ship but now we are surrounded by seven more alien ships of the Black Eye Galaxy and we are locked into a magnetic force field. Please, send help our way! We need you!”
Back on Earth, President Reagan held a press conference.
“Good evening everyone. As you know the Capricorn-29 spaceship which was headed to Saturn was attacked by aliens from the Black Eye Galaxy. Our Atomic Soldiers are on the job and heading to Saturn to free our Capricorn-29 spaceship. I won’t let anything happen to our wonderful crew on the Capricorn-29. No one scares us as we are the United States of America and we will fight these aliens. That’s all for now. Thank you. God bless the astronauts! God Bless America!”
Chapter Three
The Capricorn-29 spaceship was locked in a magnetic force field surrounded by seven alien space ships from the Black Eye Galaxy. Captain Donny Feldman kept trying to free their spaceship from the magnetic force field. Astronaut Deirdre McClellan radioed Serena, the Atomic Soldier.
“We’re surrounded by seven alien spaceships from the Black-Eyed Galaxy and we’re locked in a magnetic force field. We need your help!”
“The Atomic Soldiers who are on their way from Mars are heading your way. Their Explorer-12 will be rescuing you very soon,” said Serena.
“Thank you. Over and out.”
Astronaut Jimmy Lee Moore programmed the Robot. Just as he was putting the pack back into the Robot, the Robot spun around quickly, thrust its arms out, and sounded an alarm. “Atomic Soldiers have arrived! Explorer-12 is here! We will be rescued soon! Prepare for an intergalactic battle! Man your stations now!”
“Hey guys, did you hear that?” asked Astronaut Jimmy Lee Moore.
“Yes, we did Jimmy. Head to your station now! You too Deirdre!” ordered Co-Captain Benny Griffith.
They were all at their respective stations. From the window of their spaceship, they could see a fireball of lasers going back and forth in the blackness of outer space. The fireballs were like huge firecrackers lighting up the universe. One of the seven alien spaceships exploded into a cannonball of fire. The Explorer-12 shot off a missile targeting one of the alien spaceships and it exploded and burst into a ball of fire. This intergalactic war went on for a while but soon the three remaining alien spaceships took off and the magnetic force field was released. The Explorer-12 spaceship approached the Capricorn-29 spaceship and two of the Atomic Soldiers walked out into space and knocked on the hatch door of the Capricorn-29.
“Come on in,” invited Astronaut Deirdre McClellan. Atomic Soldiers Zachary Mikowsky and Matthias Bergen stepped into the Capricorn-29 spaceship.
“You’re safe for now but we’re going to remain on your spaceship for the rest of your journey. Our data shows us there are a lot of alien spaceships from the Black-Eyed Galaxy circling around out there. You might either get sucked into one of their spaceships again or locked into a magnetic force field again. We’ll remain here with you in the event of another attack. The rest of our crew is on board our spaceship Explorer-12 and circling around out there in case of an attack. We have our atomic shield guns with us plus our mini robot attack module, and other atomic weapons. Stay on alert!” advised Atomic Soldier Zachary Mikowsky.
“We’ll help you to steer the spaceship away from the path of the alien spaceships,” said Atomic Soldier Matthias Bergen.
“We appreciate your help,” said Astronaut Deirdre McClellan.
“We’re sorry it took us so long to get here,” said Atomic Soldier Zachary Mikowsky.
“We’re just glad you’re here now,” said Captain Donny Feldman.
“Let’s get all our data up on your computers so you can be in sync with us” said Atomic Soldier Mathias Bergen.
“Just download your file and I’ll upload it here,” said Astronaut Jimmy Lee Moore.
“No problem”, said Zachary.
In no time, Jimmy Lee was printing out the data and handing everyone a copy.
“Looks like these alien spaceships have a lot more capabilities built into their ships than ours do,” said Co-Captain Benny Griffith.
“The speed they can travel at is three times faster than we can,” said Astronaut Deirdre McClellan.
The Robot lit up, thrust out his arms, and alerted everyone. “Look out our window! Dangerous aliens walking in space! They are headed for our spaceship! Imminent attack! Danger! Aliens are armed!”
The Atomic Soldiers suited up, and took their atomic shield guns and with their spacewalk aluminum rope they stepped out into space. The Atomic Soldiers had super human strength. They grabbed the aliens one by one and hurled them thousands of miles into the blackness of outer space. Being there’s no gravity in outer space, the aliens twirled all around, up and down, spinning like wheels. Atomic Soldier Matthias Bergen shot his atomic shield gun and now a huge bubble encircled the Capricorn-29 spaceship. It would now travel freely for the next five days without any danger of an alien attack. Zachary and Matthias returned to the Capricorn-29 spaceship.
Astronaut Deirdre McClellan radioed NASA.
The next day President Reagan was happy to announce:
“Our Capricorn-29 spaceship was rescued by the Atomic Soldiers. They are safe for now and traveling to the planet of Saturn. God bless the Atomic Soldiers! God bless the USA!”
