I Wonder

Was the path pre-drawn,
as some say,

and even our footprints
pre-planned, just so?

Or is it a foreshadow
drawing for us

as we decide; the footprints,
mere afterthoughts.

I wonder if it could be
a combination of both;

we decide and
we choose where

our steps will go,
but somewhere deep

within our memories
and our dreams

we’ve been here,
and there,

and everywhere
before.
