Alcuin is an American living in Germany. His “literary dream” is to create memorable stories in fantasy and science fiction, ones that affect real life.

“To Die Like a Man” is a four-part serial complete on line as of the first instalment. Readers will appreciate the story’s careful craftmanship as it plays out a tragic drama from beginning to end, from an interplanetary ore carrier’s disastrous accident to the captain’s confrontation with temptation. But the story returns to its beginning, and the captain is the last to see that evil may contain hidden elements of its own self-destruction.
