Wave Theory

I like that photons come in packages
but also waves from the Sun
like flocks of birds in mumuration
moving towards our poles as one

smooth as an Amazon operation
like ordering a chair or a pair of socks
or one of those apps that serves the nation
where you can order lunch or frocks

it's all run by algorithms and heat
a great big universe expanding at the waist
from the first fantastic flash
to the last teensy taste

physics dictates chemistry creates biology
and it'll all fizzle out like apathy eventually
which horrifies some but not me
I love looking at nature scientifically
