I work at Shinawatra University in Bangkok, where I live with my wife and daughter. I have previously lived and worked in Sudan, Greece, Korea, Australia, Abu Dhabi and my native UK.
I normally publish academic papers about economic and social development in Southeast Asia but I have had half a dozen or so short stories accepted this year. I keep a blog of my activities, described by my wife as ‘very boring,’ at jcwalsh.wordpress.com.
