Bewildering Stories biography

to Bewildering Stories bibliography

Keith Wallis is a published poet with decades (!) of experience from the era of the ‘small press’ to the era of ‘the web’. He’s been on this planet since 1949 when, by a strange manipulation of the universe, he arrived early and half-cooked. His career as an engineering designer gives him an eye for detail and an engaging outlook on life.

‘Wordsculptor’ was a nickname ascribed to him by a colleague back in the 1980’s which may be pretentious but seemed to be worth hanging on to. He has a popular blogsite where he integrates words with photographs in ways that always inspire and sometimes amuse. And a personal website: Wordsculptures.

Keith’s poetry and graphics have also been published in: Perpetual Magazine, BohemianAlien, Haruah, Relief, Bogg, Periaktos, Fisheye, Stride, Krax, Sol, Spokes, Making Waves, RootsWorship, EveryDayPoets, PoetryMonthly International, Word Catalyst Magazine, Joyful, TruthSaves, The Cypress Times, Christian Poet’s Pen.

As well as poetry he dabbles in art, few of his abstracts are on view at his website.

Works:

Four chapbooks of poetry:

Wordsculptures
Marketplace of Masks
Real Tears & Crocodile Smiles

— published by Stride Publications

Concrete Womb — published by Sol Publications
