Bewildering Stories biography

I have a penchant for 70’s horror B-movies, psychedelic doom metal, permaculture, and nature worship. I am a native of northern New Mexico, and was raised in the historical Española Valley.

My past occupations have included carpenter, landscaper, wild-land firefighter, and adjunct professor. Currently I am the MFA Program Coordinator for the MFA in Creative Writing department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM.

I live with my wife and daughter in Albuquerque, NM, writing dark fantasy sci-fi, and tending to the garden out back.

I earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of New Mexico. I am the writer of “The Story of the Tierra Psycho” and serve as the digital steward for the Mutantroot Continuum. Some of my other stories can be found online at Brick Moon Fiction.
