I’m originally from Alabama but moved to metropolitan Virginia. For a year I painted at an art school in Richmond but then went on to pursue writing. I have an MFA from George Mason University, and I’m currently working on my PhD while teaching American Literature at Auburn University.
My work has also appeared in The Voices Project, The Foliate Oak Literary Magazine, and Embodied Effigies, among others.
