Bewildering Stories biography

I am originally from Long Island, New York, but I lived in Virginia and New Jersey before settling in northern Nevada, where I have lived for the past twenty years. I received my B.A. from St. John's University and my J.D. from the College of William and Mary.

In my former lives, I practiced law, helped to run a small software firm, and raised twins who are approaching college age. While I've enjoyed writing for pleasure since childhood, writing for publication is a new endeavor. I'm striving to find my voice as a writer and to hone my craft. I write short stories, historical fiction, and the occasional poem. My poetry has appeared in The Meadow. I blog about life and writing at www.mydearestcassandra.wordpress.com.
