I’m the author of two short fiction collections and twenty-five other books in genres from memoir to mystery to horror. My work has appeared in fifteen languages and I recently finished a guest sting of six years teaching creative writing at Michigan State University. Their library’s Special Archives has purchased my current and future literary papers, so as my eldest says, “I’m indexed.” Because of several book tours in Germany, Leipzig University has invited me to teach creative writing there as a Picador Professor.
