I am a poet, visual artist and great-grandmother living on the shore at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia Beach, USA. I earned my BFA, BA in education and MFA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk Virginia.
For nine years I taught elementary art in Norfolk public schools while working on my Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I earned a certificate of studies in Jungian psychology / philosophy as part of my MFA degree.
After teaching, I owned a small bookkeeping business and worked from home for 20 years. Having written poetry since my early thirties, I continued writing and painting and now have a large body of works to share in both creative fields.
