Robert Laughlin

Bewildering Stories biography

Robert Laughlin lives in Chico, California. His short fiction has appeared in a number of American and British magazines, and his short story “In the Evening Made” was voted a Notable Story of 2006 by the judging panel of the storySouth Million Writers Award. His novel Vow of Silence was published by Trytium in December 2008 and an excerpt has appeared in Bewildering Stories.

Mr. Laughlin is the creator and administrator of the Micro Award, the first international competition for previously published flash fiction. He is also a prolific contributor and de facto staff member of Ralan's Webstravaganza. A list of Mr. Laughlin's publications and upcoming appearances can be found at his personal website.
