Bewildering Stories

Rebecca Latyntseva

Bewildering Stories biography

R. Latyntseva’s poetry and prose have been published in Ambit, Fire, Reactions 5 (University of East Anglia anthology), The Guardian (as a consequence), Twisted Tongue, Literati Magazine, and Citizen. She was also ‘showcased’ in ‘Writers’ Forum’. She hasn’t won any competitions :( — alas, all those 1000’s of squandered rubles — but was longlisted in the Bridport Comp.

According to a reputable Russian shaman, she is 3,571 years of age. Her pastimes include piano playing (Chopin, Bach, and Scriabin), bicycling dangerously, drifting around in a cloud of melancholia, and stroking Casper, her cat.

She lived most of her adult life in the USSR/Russia but now resides in England and is known to hug birch trees and strum the balalaika. She has completed an MA in Screenwriting and is currently polishing a two-hour screenplay Matryoshka (‘Russian Dolls’) and is, halfheartedly, looking for a producer.
