SL Kretschmer
Bewildering Stories biography
SL Kretschmer is a born and bred South Australian currently living in the beautiful wine region of the Barossa Valley. SL returned to study as a mature-aged student, gaining a BA in Creative Writing and Post-Graduate Museum studies. You’ll often find her searching heritage cemeteries for character names.
Her short stories have been featured in several anthologies, including A Flash of Brilliance, Until Dawn, Anthology of Short Stories Summer 2021, Where Spirits Linger and Inscribe Literary. Her work has also appeared at Beyond Words, 101 Words, Bluing the Blade, Mosaic, and Suddenly and Without Warning.
When not writing, SL is a school librarian and Zumba lover. She tries hard not to confuse the two.
