Raised in the hollers of West Virginia, I have been tracking west ever since. This note catches me in Illinois. Formerly a professor of Geography and Environmental studies, I got sick and they made me stop. Now I string words together from home. In my heart of hearts, I’m a folklorist. I have flash fiction appearing in The 42-Words Anthology and When the Wind Blows.
