Bewildering Stories biography
I was raised in Berkeley, and attended the University of California at Berkley, before moving to Oxford to study Near Eastern archaeology. I have been interested in speculative fiction since childhood. While archaeology deals with material culture, there are many instances where researchers have to use more or less imagination when trying to grapple with ruined buildings and broken pottery. I really enjoy letting loose with writing fiction myself. It makes me appreciate the works of authors like Tolkien even more than I do already (if that is possible).
