Ben Coppin lives in Ely in the UK. He wrote a university textbook on artificial intelligence which was published in the U.S. in 2004 and has been writing and publishing short fiction (mostly science fiction and some fairy tales) in the past few years. In 2007 he published and edited an online science fiction magazine, Darker Matter, which ran for five issues.
