Bewildering Stories biography

Roland Allnach, after working twenty years on the night shift in a hospital, has witnessed life from a slightly different angle. He is working to develop his writing career, drawing creatively from literary classics, history, and mythology.

Several of his stories have been published, one of which was a Pushcart Prize nominee, and his first book, Remnant, was published in 2010, to critical acclaim. It also placed as Finalist/Sci-Fi in the 2011 National Indie Excellence Awards.

A second anthology, titled Oddites & Entities, containing novellas that cross the borders between horror, supernatural, and the paranormal, will see publication in early 2012.

His published short fiction includes tales that fall in various genres, and one of his stories, “Creep,” was the aforementioned 2010 Pushcart Prize nominee.

He is currently busy pursuing publication for more stories, books, and hopes to acquire agent representation. And in the meantime, he tries to keep up a steady flow of creative output. His stories can be found at his website, www.rolandallnach.com.
