Elizabeth Alexander could perhaps best be described as a restless spirit and is fast becoming something of an expert on travelling with a cat in tow — both she and her intrepid tabby cat Merlin have lived in three countries in the past three years.

Her hobbies include writing, watching cheesy horror movies, staring aimlessly out to sea, painting abstracts in oil, listening to loud, frenetic; guitar fuelled rock music and attempting to sing. Sometimes she even succeeds.

She resides in Andalucia, Spain.
