Bewildering Stories biography

I’m an eternal learner and constant explorer. Growing up as a military brat gave me a deep appreciation of nomadic lifestyles, a combined wariness of and respect for authority, and close-up insights into the warrior mentality and its manifestations, all of which influence my work to a very discernible degree.

I married young and became a scholar-gypsy along with my husband, earning a Master’s in American literature at Northeastern University and a doctorate in interdisciplinary Baroque studies at Penn State.

My education continues with my traveling and reading as widely as I can. One of my favorite quotes is Tennyson’s “I am a part of all that I have met,” and everything that I am finds its way into my work.

My books and short fiction are digitally available at the Amazon Kindle bookstore, Barnes and Noble, Smashwords, and other online retailers. Visit my website at for more information about me and my writing.
