Bewildering Stories biography
I grew up in rural East Texas, and have lived in Texas all my life. I graduated from Tyler Junior College and the University of Texas at Tyler with a B.S. in Criminal Justice / Corrections. I retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 2009.
I think I really fell in love with poetry from a childhood spent with Robert Louis Stevenson, J.R.R. Tolkien, Robert Service and Vachel Lindsay. The beauty of words playing nicely together still stirs my heart.
I am married, with grown kids and really sweet grandbabies.
