Bewildering Stories biography

Walt Giersbach grew up in a small Oregon logging town and migrated East to high school in New Jersey before escaping back to Iowa to get a B.A. from Grinnell College. He spent three years with the Army Security Agency in Korea and Taiwan before returning to a career directing communications at Fortune 500 companies.

His articles and commentary have appeared in Good Old Days, Military History Online, Whim’s Place and Copperfield Review. Walt’s short stories can be found in the April 2007 issue of Northwoods Journal, as well as Lunch Hours Stories and Mouth Full of Bullets. Wild Child Publishing has just published his collection of short stories, Cruising the Green of Second Avenue.
