On the Green Bridge

He was born and raised
in the town of yellow,
while she grew up
in the city of blue.

They first met
on the green bridge,
in the middle of it,
as a matter of fact.

He was fascinated
by her blue background,
as she seemed to be
of his yellow origins.

They continued to meet
at the center of this bridge,
and eventually
decided to marry.

The green ceremony
took place near the midpoint
of the green bridge, but closer
to her blue side.

They lived together,
happily, for many years,
on the blue side,
until their divorce, that is.

Today he is back
in his yellow town,
and she,
in her blue city.
