Jonathan B. Ferrini

Jonathan lives in San Diego, California and has an MFA degree in motion pictures and television. He has published almost a hundred short fiction stories and poems and is the host and writer of “The Razor’s Ink” podcast, which discusses movies, television and music.

“The Talking Phone” can be taken literally, if readers prefer, or as the story of a symbol. It connects a divorcee with her regret that she and her husband had let their marriage dwindle away into mutual recrimination on account of his disappointment in his career hopes. The antique telephone brings many different voices to her, all underscoring what’s important to remember in life.
