Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Mary Jo Rabe
Mary Jo is originally from rural eastern Iowa and earned her first degree from Michigan State University. She worked as a librarian in the Black Forest area of Germany for 41 years. She enjoys writing “science fiction, modern fantasy, historical fiction and crime or mystery stories.”
“The Benefits of a Barbara Twig” is given no “spoiler” with the advance hint that it has the kind of ending that the author prefers, namely a happy one. Readers will enjoy watching the characters’ personalities develop as they come “on stage.” And they’ll find a student assistant especially appealing for a “special needs” affliction that has a way of bringing good fortune to her co-workers.
Mary Jo Rabe’s bio sketch can be found here.
