Ken Hogarty

Ken lives with his wife in San Francisco’s East Bay area. He has had a 46-year career as a teacher and adminstrator in secondary and higher education. In retirement, he has published extensively in innumerable publications.

“No Hard Feelings” depicts with an ironic conclusion the feelings of a teacher and administrator for Faryn, who is a beautiful and highly intelligent student in a high-school honours program. The teacher selects samples of Faryn’s writings that demonstrate her sensitivity and insight. Surely, she will have far to go after high school! Right? Or maybe Faryn has other ideas about how best to use her talents. How will her decision ultimately affect her teacher’s feelings?
