“Acting Out the Future” is a story about science fiction storytellers trying to convince one of their inebriated members that he is really taking part in an outlandish science fiction tale set some 60-odd years in the future. Readers whose age is approaching the century mark will enjoy picking out details that set the story in the USA in the early 1950’s or even earlier.
