“My First Plane Ride” is a story about a fairly uneventful airplane trip told from the point of view of an 18-month old infant. How can an infant do that? Let’s just say that a convenient adult can come in handy. The result is an enjoyable experiment with the first-person, partially omniscient point of view in a prose account.
