Charles Merkel

Charles Merkel hails from Louisville, Kentucky, and is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Journalism. He is also a veteran of the war in Vietnam. He has worked as a manager in various vehicle industries and has published some short stories n literary magazines.

“An Anomaly in Time introduces Tommy, a young draftee about to be sent to Vietnam. Glenda, a hospital nurse, also proves to be an angel who gives him a taste of life before he departs on a tour of duty from which he might not return.
