Ashley livees in Williamsburg, Virginia and is passionate about the intersection of science with art and literature. Her research has appeared in at conferences and in journals concerning artificial intelligence.

The Mother of Gaia” will intrigue readers with its evocation of archeology’s oldest known hominin, Lucy. In a not too distant future, AI programs make it possible to compile future discoveries into coherent narratives of life and, ultimately, loss. The generations of the future must interpret wisely the stories from humanity’s earliest known beginnings.
