Nicholas Viglietti

Nicholas is from Sacramento, Californa. After Hurricane Katrina, he spent two years rebuilding homes on the Gulf coast. Since then he has traveled by bycicle overland from Sacramento to South Dakota.

“Stompin’ Round Town” appears to be a humorous reminiscence of days on the Gulf coast, where long weeks of construction work might be relieved by an occasional vacation in New Orleans. The story suggests, though, that what was a vacation for some workers might not be quite the same for others.
