Bewildering Stories introduces and welcomes...
Joseph M. Isenberg
Joseph Isenberg lives in central Iowa. He has a degree in History and Political Science from Iowa State University and a law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law.
“Timmy Perkins and the Pussycat Extravaganza” is a humorous story with interesting characters, the main one of which, readers may say, is Reggie MacGuffin, an otherwise friendly pussycat who appears to have it in bigtime for the grandiosely ambitious Timmy Perkins, who bestows upon the apparently cute kitty-cat Alfred Hitchcock’s name for a normally inanimate dramatic device.
The story’s length is suitable for a serial, but it’s just a little too long to include as a short story or, perhaps, to serve as an excerpt for the author’s novel Hot Halcon Nights, which is set in the Pan-Galactic Empire.
