Cody Walzel is an 8th-generation Texan born to a single mother in a rural town with a munitions plant and a biker church.
He broke into the animation industry after sneaking up a freight elevator with his portfolio on a flash drive and has developed a sense of visual storytelling over the last 14 years in working for places like Disney, Sony, Buzzfeed, Cartoon Network, Bojack Horseman and Futurama. He’s been published in Defenestration and the Freedom Fiction Journal.
