Bewildering Stories biography

Although I spent most of my life in the USA, I recently returned to my roots and settled in the wilds of the Albertan prairies a few years back, where I’m raising my three children. When not writing for myself, I’m a ghostwriter who has penned over two dozen books for clients, as well as an award-winning editor who has worked with both celebrity and New York Times best-selling authors.

In 2024, I pursued a project called “Author Versus AI,” where I wrote a book a week using NO AI at all (34 books total). In addition to novels, I’ve penned stories and poems that span the spectrum of genres. Some notable journals where I’m published include Canadian Literature, Litro, On Spec, and Grain Magazine, and my work has been nominated for both Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize.

As the associate editor for the magazine ScribesMICRO and administrator for The Scribes Prize, I’ve been lucky enough to work with hundreds of amazing authors and hope to continue to do so for many years in the future.

When not writing, I practice origami meditation and draw all over the walls of my house with the enthusiastic help of my kids. In my spare time, I like to read and review books for Bewildering Stories, so please feel free to drop me a line if you have a recommendation. I’m always happy to chat with fellow readers and writers.
