Rosalind Kaplan

Bewildering Stories biography

Rosalind Kaplan is a Philadelphia-based writer, physician and teacher of Narrative Medicine. Her essays can be found in literary journals including: Across the Margin, El Portal, Green Hills Literary Lantern, Open Ceilings, SLAB, Stonecoast Review, Sweetree, and others. Her full-length memoir, The Patient in the White Coat, was published in 2010, and her memoir in essays entitled Still Healing, winner of the 2022 Minerva Rising Memoir Contest, was released in January, 2025.

She is a 2020 graduate of Lesley University’s MFA in Creative Nonfiction. She lives with her husband and two rescue dogs, and has two grown children.
