Sanchita Das was born and raised in India.

She graduated with an honors degree in commerce from Calcutta University in 2005.
She has taken Media Certificate Courses in Print & Television Journalism at News Reading & Anchoring (NITS) in 2005 and at the National Institute of Technical Studies(NITS), Kolkata in 2007.
She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata in 2008.
She worked as a reporter for several media organizations from February 5, 2008 to October 31, 2017.
She has been residing with her hubby and only ward in the Netherlands since April 2019.
She worked as a media director at an advertising agency from July 2019 to August 2022.
She later joined the Haarlem-Mutare organization as a writer and an interviewer from February 2021 to April 2023.
She has been working as a freelance writer since March 2023.
She completed the course on Mental Health from Harvard University in 2025.

Her articles have occasionally been published in Adelaide Literary Magazine and Blue Villa Mag.
