Bewildering Stories biography
Amita Basu’s fiction appears or is forthcoming in 90+ venues including
Notre Dame Review, The Penn Review, Bamboo Ridge, Harpur Palate, Faultline, Jelly Bucket, Phoebe, and
Funicular. Her debut,
At Play and Other Stories (Bridge House Press), released in 2025. She’s won the Letter Review Prize and the Ruskin Bond Prize, and been shortlisted for the Coppice Prize and contests at
Phoebe and
Five Minute Lit. She lives in Auroville, India and works at a climate action thinktank.
