Steven French

Steven is a semi-retired academic who has worked in Brazil and the USA but has now lived in West Yorkshire, in the UK for many years. He has published short stories elewhere and is looking forward to more.

“Handshake at the Crossroads” gives a lesson in negotiating the traditional deal with the Devil, and readers will do well to keep it in mind in case they find it useful. Most of all, though, readers — and writers, as well — will surely find the idiscussion between two wise musicians engaging with its natural, down-home air.
