Ann lives in the New York City suburbs and has published books of poetry and translations from French. Ann publishes a poetry and arts newsletter and gives talks on the way translation can help writers advance their own work.

Black Suit” is a poem that will surely amuse readers by its illustration of the need to dress for occasions. For example, funereal black might look appropriately “professional” for some job interviews. For some others, though, it might be a life-saver.
