“Grave Defender” was originally penciled and inked on paper and painted in layers with acrylic ink (Daler-Rowney FW; Liquitex).

Once fully dried, the canvas was scanned and additional visual effects added using Photoshop and other third-party digital apps such as PhotoWizard (“Radial Blur” for the cinematic action in-your-face action) and Repix (“Flares”). Total elapsed work effort: 2 weeks.
