Bewildering Stories welcomes...

K. S. Riggin

K.S. Riggin also writes under the pen name of Shaara Shaarvan. She prefers to write novels but has a portfolio of short stories and poems on line. Her publications have appeared widely on the Net.

“Flying Angels” is constructed on dark irony: the narrator, Jackie, expresses lyrical joy at the freedom cycling on the open road, but her pleasure comes at a heavy price: the Flying Angels motorcycle gang conducts “initiation” rites that sometimes turn deadly. The reader may suspect that Jackie might well think twice about her associates if she had to undergo an initiation.

K. S. Riggin’s bio sketch can be found here.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Karen. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
