Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Nora B. Peevy

Nora lives with her family in Dallas, Texas. She says it’s a fine place to stalk werewolves, vampires “and other creepies.”

“The Mermaid’s Shadow Lamp” is a story about a magic lamp found in an antique store; it’s a talisman that reverses aging, but the benefit is useful only to those who know how to make use of it. The story falls into a subgenre made famous by Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray and Honoré de Balzac’s La Peau de chagrin.

Nora B. Peevy’s bio sketch can be found here.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Nora. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
