Rebecca D. Elswick

Rebecca’s family history goes back a long way in the coal mines of southwestern Virginia. She teaches Advanced Placement English as well as Creative Writing and Photography in high school. Rebecca has published fiction and non-fiction in a number of literary journals.

“What’s Yours Is Mine” is a cautionary tale for young adult readers; children of the consumer society will do well to heed it. The story’s structure is ambitious in its deliberate ambiguity: is Brittany really a murderess or is she a callous opportunist?
