Five Poems on a Theme

I
Zurvan has been forgotten in his land
An ancient God they no longer understand
Joy came in this freedom
As it will with the changes planned

II
She chased its secret as a child
A quest for truth far from mild
Through physics she found it
And thus made all reality seem wild

III
His father, his killer sits by him
Hopes for escape have become quite slim
After death it all repeats
Hellish loop in this life gone dim

IV
Across the bridge she found herself there
An earlier age of deals called square
A primitive society to her
Still an escape from her era's despair

V
As the giant ship approaches relativistic speed
The dying accelerates but they shall succeed
A dream is worth this
They travel forward to meet its need
