Match Ryan

Match has published fiction in literary journals and is a professor of English at Concordia University, in St. Paul. Match is also a colleague of ours as fiction editor of Best New Writing.

“Prodigal Dog” is a charming modern fable about Loretta, a con-dog who’s introduced to readin’ and writin’, busts out of prison, and comes back to the welcoming arms of dandruff-ridden Judge Danderson.
