Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Michele Dutcher

Michele has interesting relationships. Her older brother was a big Star Trek fan, and now one of her cats has befriended an iguana. Let’s just hope both pets are well fed enough that the lizard doesn’t start licking its chops at the prospect of having kitty-cat for lunch.

Michele describes “Five Silver Discs” as a mixture of Chariots of the Gods and The Da Vinci Code. Its center has to do, she says, with the fragility of technology and the difficulty of rebuilding.

Personally, I think “Five Silver Discs” stands quite well on its own with no help from those two very dubious precedents, especially the Dan Brown novel. And the story also has another twist: the main character can solve arcane mysteries, but he can’t seem to see something obvious right under his nose!

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Michele. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
