Bewildering Stories welcomes...

James Swingle

It’s quite a far piece to go, moving from New York City to the wilds of northern British Columbia, but James seems to have managed it and now walks and talks with the mammals (not my joke; it’s James’). Despite the absence of New York delis and delicacies, he has a nice website and writes good stories.

“Picking Up a Seventeen-Foot Tall Woman” doesn’t refer to James’ current Bigfoot neighbors; rather the story takes a whimsically literal and yet sad view of perceptions and attitudes in male-female relationships.

James’s bio sketch can be found here.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, James. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
