Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Lea Schizas

After 23 years of “taking care of family,” namely her husband and five children, all of whom still live at home, Lea found herself looking for something to do. In her spare time she has founded and edited Apollo’s Lyre and The MuseItUp Club, two webzines that have been showered with Most Useful Writing Sites awards from Preditors and Editors.

She has also founded an online writers’ conference, a book reviews website, and another e-zine, all the while writing book reviews and serving as a copy editor for Double Dragon. Oh, and she’s also written a young adult adventure fantasy novel and has co-authored a reference book on writing nonfiction.

One can only conclude that Lea has trained her family to extraordinary efficiency. Either that or she’s an insomniac who lives on a planet with a fifty-hour day.

“Zany Aunt Martha” is a story about a kindly aunt who favors a nephew, Charlie, who is also very sweet but who doesn’t seem to find strange telephone calls at an odd hour at all out of the ordinary.

Lea’s bio sketch can be found here.

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Lea. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
