Cornfusion

Fusion from Corn? What a deal. Nah. Not what I want to talk about. I've always disliked Robert A. Heinlein's novel I Will Fear No Evil. But aside from the basic protagonismics, the milieu that Heinlein created seems sadly to be almost prophetic. There is an interesting review at http://www.wegrokit.com/i_will_fear_no_evil.htm that causes me to perhaps reread this book. As we enter into the last half of the first decade of the twentyfirst century, are we headed into a United States of "Abandoned Areas"? What about the problems the French, British, Swedes, Danes, Nederlanders, Australians, etc., are having with Muslim Enclaves where "Shar'ia Law" is to prevail.

The strength of the US has always been the "melting pot" ideal "E Pluribus Unum"; "From Many, One". Not just states, but people. "I'm an American!" Well, hey, diversity rules, and all cultures are of equal value. Riiiiiigggghhhhttt...

And Paris burns...
