Bewildering Stories

Bewildering Stories welcomes...

Geoff Nelder

Bewildering Stories has long taken pride in receiving high-quality contributions from every inhabited continent in the world. Now, another writer of quality joins our respectably large contingent of British authors. Which does not make Britain a continent, necessarily; that seems to be more a political than a geographical question... just kidding, Geoff!

Geoff is an editor and moderator at BeWrite.net and has won at least two writing competitions. Is he afflicted with computer-screen pallor? Hardly! Geoff is very much at home outdoors. He’s written books on microclimates in the U.K. and has published articles in such magazines as Weather and Cycling World.

“Wrong Number” is Geoff’s first appearance in our pages. What I find most interesting and fun about it not what’s going on out in space — even the hero, Ken, finds that puzzling, although he’s read enough science fiction to have a good clue — but what happens on the ground. Henpecked husbands of the world, your paranoid wife and cornball relatives are the least of your worries: They Aliens Have Landed ! Can it get any worse on a space shuttle taken over by growly aliens?

Welcome to Bewildering Stories, Geoff. We hope to hear from you again soon and often!
